IMPORTANT TIPS TO REMEMBER! - The First Time You Use VIP-DATA

  • VIP-DATA works from a touch-tone phone only

  • On your FIRST call to VIP-DATA, the system will ask you to identify yourself by entering your full 9-digit Social Security Number.

  • VIP-DATA will then prompt you to enter a new Personal Identification Number (PIN).  Be prepared by having a PIN chosen before your first call to VIP-DATA

  • The Personal Identification Number (PIN) the YOU SELECT ensures that your account information remains confidential.  CHOOSE ANY number that is convenient for you.  You can use the same number for each of your accounts, or you could choose the same number that you use for your ATM card, calling card, etc.

  • Protect the secrecy of your PIN. DO NOT give anyone that is not authorized to transfer or withdraw from your account your PIN number and do not write it anywhere it could be discovered by others.

Service Features

  1. Checking Account or Money Market Account Information
    Enter your account number followed by the # key and your PIN number followed by the # key. You will be given your account balance and you can then choose any one of the following: list of all cleared transactions, list of deposits & other credits, list of ATM transactions, list of checks and other debits, search by check number, search by check amount, change your PIN, have account information faxed. 

  2. Savings Account Information
    Enter your account number followed by the # key and your PIN number followed by the # key. You will be given your account balance and you can then choose any one of the following: list of all cleared transactions, list of deposits, list of ATM transactions, list of withdrawals, change your PIN. 

  3. Transfer Funds or Make a Loan Payment
    No decimal point needed...do not use * in the amount.  This option will allow you to transfer from checking or from savings.

  4. CD or IRA Information
    Enter your account number followed by the # key and your PIN followed by the # key.  You will be given your certificate's balance, interest paid last year, the current interest rate, and your certificate's maturity date.

  5. Loan Information                                                                                                                 Enter your account number followed by the # key, then enter your PIN followed by the # key.  You will be given your last payment date, your current interest rate, payoff information, and the loan maturity date.

  6. Stop Payment Order                                                                                                            Listen carefully to the important details given regarding ordering a stop payment through VIP-DATA.  After the message, enter your account number followed by the # key and your PIN followed by the # key.  Follow the prompts and enter the information needed for the stop payment order.
