Each year, during the month of June, residents in the state of Wisconsin celebrate its dairy farmers.  To join in the festivities,                      The Bank of Mauston is hosting some fun and free events, and you are invited to participate!

ANNUAL  COLORING  CONTEST  From June 3 to June 19, all area children ages 12 and under are encouraged to pick up a coloring contest sheet at any one of the bank’s six convenient locations.  From all the entries received, each office will present a ‘Judges’ Favorite’ award.  In addition, first and second place prizes will be given to children in three age categories at each branch.  To be eligible for prizes, completed pictures will need to be returned by Wednesday, June 19.  Winners will be selected based on creativity, and will be notified by the phone number given on the entry form on Thursday, June 20.  Prizes will be available for pick up on Friday, June 21. 

CHEESE  SAMPLING  &  MEET  A  DAIRY  CALF  On Friday, June 14 from 10 am to 2 pm, The Bank of Mauston’s main bank will treat you to some samples of Wisconsin cheeses, and crackers.  In addition, there will be a dairy calf at the bank from 10 am to 1 pm for children to see, pet and have a complementary photo taken with!  Photos will be available to be picked up beginning the following Friday, June 21.

FREE  FROZEN  DAIRY  TREATS  To wrap-up June Dairy Month, each of The Bank of Mauston’s locations will be offering free frozen dairy treats on Friday, June 21 from 10 am to 2 pm.  Be sure to stop by the branch offices in Lyndon Station, Necedah, New Lisbon and/or Wisconsin Dells and receive a free sundae.  At the main location in Mauston, the Mauston High School FFA Chapter will serve their famous milkshakes – compliments of The Bank of Mauston. 

In addition to these events, the Mauston High School FFA Chapter has donated some garden stepping stones, and the bank will be giving these away throughout the month.  To be eligible, all you have to do is stop by your local branch, fill out an entry form, and place it in the drawing box.  The main bank will hold its drawings throughout the month, and each branch will draw their winner on Friday, June 28.
